Events Director – The Events Director coordinates and plans four large events including: Graduate Orientation in August, Student Showcase (UA) in October, Student Showcase (Phoenix) in February, and Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week in April. This appointed position is a 12-month 1/2-time GA-ship.
-
Grants Director – The Grants Director administers the GPSC Travel Grant Program. This appointed position pays by the hour.
-
Research and Policy Director – The Research and Policy Director will perform research, and various other tasks, under the direction of the GPSC President. This appointed position pays by the hour.
Be a Travel Grant Judge
The GPSC always needs graduate and professional students to act as judges for the GPSC Travel Grant program. This is a great way to add some service to CV or resume. Also, by judging applications, you will learn more about the evaluation process, and increase the quality of your grant applications in the future. Contact gpscgrant@email.arizona.edu if you are interested.
Volunteer
GPSC has many events throughout the year for which we need extra hands - everything from registration at Graduate Orientation, to carrying snacks to Movie Nights. This is a great and simple way to get involved without a huge time commitment. Prefect if you just want to find out more about the GPSC and what we do.
